- Does this work with Gmail, Yahoo, or iCloud too?
- No, by design. Ravlen only connects to Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365 accounts. That's the whole point: depth over breadth. It's not a gap we're embarrassed about.
- Do I have to learn a whole new keyboard system?
- No. Classic mode works like any inbox, with the mouse and familiar shortcuts. The leader-key system is there when you want it, not a prerequisite for day one.
- Is my mail stored somewhere new?
- Mail stays with Microsoft. Ravlen is a client, not a middleman. What sits on your machine is your synced copy and your credentials, not a copy on someone else's server.
- Why would I trust a small team's app with my work email?
- Ravlen never sends your email address to our license server. It sends a one-way hash of it, just to check your subscription, plus your OS and its version as a short text label. No device ID, no machine fingerprint. Tracking pixels don't fire until you've chosen to trust a sender. Check the Privacy page for exactly what leaves your device.
- How does the free trial work?
- Sign in with your Outlook address and Ravlen starts a 37-day trial automatically. No card, no website visit, no signup step. The clock starts the first time the app checks in, not the day you installed it.
- What happens when my trial or subscription ends?
- Nothing locks instantly. Ravlen gives you a few days of grace, then blocks sending new mail and pauses background sync until you renew. Reading, searching, and organizing the mail you already have keeps working indefinitely. Think of it as a nag, not DRM.
- Does Ravlen work offline?
- Yes. License checks fail open: if Ravlen can't reach the license server, whether you're offline or the server's having a bad day, it keeps working with whatever it last confirmed. A bad connection never locks you out.
- How much does it cost?
- €4.99 per month, per Outlook email address, with unlimited devices for that address.
- Can I use one license on multiple computers?
- A license is bound to your email address, not a device. It covers every machine you sign into with that address.
- What if I use two Outlook accounts?
- Each address needs its own subscription. Licensing runs per email address, not per person or per machine.
